Zimbabwe Village Wells 2025

Many of our brethren in Zimbabwe live in remote villages. During the dry season, and in recent years, their crops have failed or they have been unable to plant sufficient crops due to severe droughts. Drilling deep wells will help ensure they, and their neighbors, have sufficient water to plant and grow their crops. This will, in theory, help lead them to some independence when it comes to food security.

Supervised by United Church of God pastor, Mabasa Chichaya, three wells will be drilled in rural Zimbabwe, aiding members (and their neighbors) in three villages: Chemba, Gawa and Nyage. Included in the drilling of these borehole wells will be the purchase of well shaft casings, tanks and stands, pumps and solar panels.
